We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with return to work services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees.
- Conduct assessments using clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
- Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals to achieve optimal return to work outcomes.
- Manage caseloads and provide support to Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Clinical knowledge of pathologies and strong communication skills to build and develop relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
