Pricing Analyst Role

This is a key position in our organization, responsible for analyzing and modeling the pricing portfolio to ensure accurate and competitive pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial or related disciplines, with experience in pricing roles within financial services and/or consulting environments. You will be responsible for interpreting complex information, extracting meaningful insights, and evaluating options for decision making.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practice pricing models, including quote conversion, customer retention, claims performance, and pricing scenarios. Additionally, you will develop initiatives to continuously refine pricing models to ensure accuracy and reflect best practice frameworks.

  • Develop and maintain pricing models using data analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support pricing decisions and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
About This Opportunity
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in an actuarial or related discipline.
  • Have experience in a pricing role acquired in a financial services (preferably general insurance) and/or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret and analyze complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.
  • Display technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
