Actuarial Pricing Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of our actuarial and pricing function. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for performing actuarial calculations to assist business units in obtaining and managing profitable business.
The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge and experience from a General Insurance pricing background or an Actuarial Related Tertiary qualification. Additionally, they will have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complicated concepts in a simple way.
Key Responsibilities- Apply actuarial and statistical pricing techniques to solve technical pricing problems
- Carry out data analysis and responsibility for specific outputs
- Demonstrate ability to apply reasonableness checks and sound judgment to pricing outputs
Experience with SAS and Python is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to extract, analyse and interpret data from several sources and resolve complex issues.
