We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee all site activities at our Kalgoorlie service branch. This is a permanent residential position with a competitive remuneration package and company benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the Service Branch, including Workshop Services, Mechanical Field Services, and Conveyor Belt Maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing effective management and guidance to the mechanical and belt splicing/rubber lining teams;
  • Investigating customer complaints related to quality, tolerance, specifications, and condition or products;
  • Ensuring the branch meets set targets in financial performance and operational services/parts sales;
  • Ensuring adherence to company Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures;
  • Providing technical liaison services between product divisions, sales personnel, and customers.

To be suitable for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum 5 years' experience working with conveyor belt systems maintenance;
  • Significant experience managing or supervising a mining-related service operation;
  • Sound leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide others;
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to read and analyze financial and operational reports.

This position is based in Kalgoorlie, and applicants should either be willing to relocate or living in the surrounding area.
