Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

This role requires thorough attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, prepare, and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
  • Restock supplies such as towels and amenities
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards
  • Handle complaints and special requests to keep every guest happy
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and occasionally assist your team during busy periods
  • Educate all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with federal, state, and local laws and safety standards
