This is a unique opportunity to lead and guide cost management teams across diverse projects, including healthcare, defence, energy, and more. You'll have the freedom to work on some of Melbourne's most iconic projects, leveraging your technical skills and expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working in engineering or PQS firms as a senior member of the QS/Cost Management team, with significant experience managing multiple project costs and budgets in a client-facing role. A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline is essential.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing concurrent complex projects across our Health Portfolio
  • Acting as Project Director/Health Portfolio Lead on projects, overseeing cost, budget, and timelines
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients to enhance AECOM's presence
  • Contributing to major project delivery through feasibility studies, capital cost advice, and cost planning
  • Mentoring and developing younger cost managers within the business

AECOM offers a competitive salary package, estimated at AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits include hybrid work options, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
