Job Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our dedicated team in women's health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic and screening mammography, with excellent communication and time management skills.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that encourages further training and growth into roles such as tutors and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of radiography for BreastScreen SWSLHD.
  • Demonstrate high level of clinical expertise in breast imaging.

Requirements:

  • Registered Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer with AHPRA.
  • Current EPA radiation license.
  • Meet Level 2 Radiographer requirements in the Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award.
  • Female applicants only (exemption under Section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience/knowledge of PACS and BIS systems.
  • Demonstrated empathy and courtesy towards clients and staff.
  • Willingsness to work across SWSLHD BreastScreen sites and across a 7-day roster.
