Job Summary

This is an opportunity for a skilled Radiographer to join our team in providing high-quality breast imaging services. As a Level 2 Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of radiography for BreastScreen SWSLHD, demonstrating expertise in the performance of breast imaging.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiographer to fill this permanent full/part-time & casual position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience/knowledge of diagnostic/screening mammography, and knowledge of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of radiography for BreastScreen SWSLHD
  • Demonstrate expertise in the performance of breast imaging
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide excellent patient care
  • Meet the requirements of a Level 2 Radiographer in the Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award

Requirements

  • Registered as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Hold a current EPA radiation license
  • Experience/knowledge of diagnostic/screening mammography
  • Knowledge of quality assurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
