We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team.
Job SummaryThe purpose of this position is to undertake all aspects of radiography for BreastScreen SWSLHD, demonstrating a high level of clinical expertise in the performance of breast imaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting mammography and other related procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in medical imaging technology.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mammography and other related procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise in the performance of breast imaging.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- A current EPA radiation license.
- A Level 2 Radiographer qualification in the Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award.
- Experience or extensive knowledge of diagnostic/screening mammography, along with a knowledge of quality assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
