Supporting Individuals with Disabilities

At our organization, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support individuals with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with complex needs and be able to develop and implement personalized programs to enhance their living skills and abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily support with tasks such as household management, transportation, and social activities
  • Developing and implementing programs to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Companionship and social support to individuals with disabilities
  • Documentation of client progress and collaboration with other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability or Diploma in Community Service
  • Experience working with mental health, complex behaviors, and high physical support needs
  • Current Australian Driver's License and insured vehicle
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • NDIS check, First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a casual position offering flexible hours, competitive hourly rates, and travel reimbursement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities.
