Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage a single procurement framework in TMR, aligning with centre-led, locally delivered procurement model.
  • Review and improve procurement policy, process, templates, tools and SharePoint site, leveraging technologies and automation.
  • Work with Director to enhance procurement governance environment, integrating governance and controls for accountability, probity, consistency, transparency and risk management.
  • Develop and manage team's program of work, ensuring quality assurance and timely delivery.
  • Lead stakeholder relationships, including internal clients, suppliers, industry and public-sector bodies, to optimize procurement policies and business improvements.
  • Develop and deliver strategic planning and forward pipelines for procurement, internal business planning and best practice scanning.
  • Develop and implement capability strategy and capability development initiatives.
  • Respond to Internal Audit and Queensland Audit Office procurement recommendations, utilizing procurement business and governance environment.
  • Manage and monitor various risk and compliance treatments and strategies.
  • Apply project management methodologies to drive and measure outcomes.
