Key Responsibilities:

This position plays a pivotal role in driving financial and operational improvements. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reconciliations.
  • Monitor and control plant costs, promoting daily efficiency and productivity enhancements.

You will be responsible for preparing and submitting Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), maintaining and updating the Assets Under Construction (AUC) register, and ensuring robust fixed asset controls are in place. Additionally, your expertise will be valuable in identifying risks related to spare parts obsolescence and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and internal control policies.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years professional experience in operational finance roles, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain or related environment.
  3. CPA/CA equivalent or working towards.
  4. System proficiency: SAP or any ERP, advanced Excel skills and Office 365 suite.
  5. In-depth knowledge of Management Accounting, Reporting and Budgeting.
  6. Strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of financial analysis methodologies and procedures.
  7. Skilled in engaging and influencing cross-functional teams to manage and deliver project outcomes.
  8. Results-oriented to deliver in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
