Job Summary
We are seeking a Relationship Manager to deliver premium services to our clients. This includes managing client expectations, negotiating service level agreements, and identifying business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage or oversee work to ensure proposed outcomes are achieved.
- Develop and document operational procedures.
- Identify risks and implement controls to ensure timely, accurate and efficient work in accordance with plan rules.
- Be the point of contact for client matters within Link in relation to a specified portfolio of clients.
- Actively promote services to existing and potential clients.
- Review client share plans and utilise influencing skills to maximise business opportunities.
- Utilise strong relationship development and rapport building skills to ensure client retention.
- Ensure all relevant issues are addressed with clients as appropriate.
- Manage internal stakeholders and co-ordinate delivery of services in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the strategic development of Link through innovative input.
- Develop strategy and management.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with client company secretaries and other client contacts.
- Manage and produce reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Identify business opportunities with clients.
- Keep abreast of current industry related issues.
- Identify registry needs of the client and ensure they are met.
- Prepare and dispatch invoices for each client in the portfolio.
- Monitor the payment of invoices by reviewing the debtors list.
- Identify business risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Requirements
- Extensive relationship experience gained in a services sector preferably financial is essential.
- A proven track record of building productive relationships and generating both cross selling and new sales opportunities is required.
- Five years' minimum experience in the financial services industry is necessary.
- A high level of understanding within the securities industry is required.
- University Graduate (Business / finance / accounting qualification preferred).
- Highly developed employee share plan knowledge is required.
- Business development and relationship management skills are essential.
- Project management skills are required.
- Acute business awareness of both Link and a portfolio of clients is necessary to meet client needs.
- Process management and analytical skills are required.
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills are essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain set target levels is required.
- Accuracy and efficiency are necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
