Job Description

We are expanding our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants living around the North Perth region and welcome an Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in their local community. You'll bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.

We will provide you with structured supervision, mentoring, and opportunities for professional development. We promise to invest in you so you can thrive in our fast-paced workplace. No two days are ever the same You might find us in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or our clinic space.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services.
  • Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
  • Mentoring and nurturing early career clinicians.
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

About the Role

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • Strong communication skills.
