Job Summary
Rewards and recognition await a senior professional to lead the construction of complex retaining wall structures on a high-profile project. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will oversee design, coordination, and technical guidance for the successful delivery of tunnel and surface works.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure retaining wall designs meet project specifications and industry standards
- Provide expertise and support to construction teams during build phase to address engineering or site challenges
- Monitor quality, safety, and environmental performance of retaining wall construction activities
- Manage risk assessments, method statements, and documentation related to retaining walls
- Assist in planning sequencing and provide productivity and cost inputs as required
- Work closely with geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, and construction personnel to deliver integrated project outcomes
- Lead forecasting and cost control for designated cost codes;
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and planning authorities to achieve satisfactory completion of structures and construction work
- Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership within the project engineering team
- Participate in procurement activities, contractor evaluations, and stakeholder engagement

Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in large infrastructure projects
- Proven track record in managing complex retaining wall engineering works, preferably in tunnel, road, or rail environments
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to offer innovative solutions under pressure
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities, with a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of work
- Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers and working effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
