About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a seasoned Senior Integration Architect to join our team. As a key member of our integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining clinical integrations using Rhapsody and Mirth Integration Engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business and functional requirements, and develop scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
  • Design and develop clinical integrations using Rhapsody and Mirth Integration Engine, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Develop and maintain API lifecycle management, including API design principles, security patterns, and Open API specification standards.
  • Lead solution architectural meetings to take key design and solution decisions, and ensure successful implementations.
  • Prepare business requirements documents, functional and non-functional requirement specifications, and system requirement specifications.
Requirements
  • Strong background in the healthcare domain and experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine, Mirth Integration, and API Lifecycle Management.
  • Good knowledge of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards, as well as API security standards.
  • Experience in API lifecycle management, Open API specification standards, and API design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of implementing different API security standards and integrating external APIs into existing systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging integration issues, and DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
