Expert Laboratory Equipment Specialist

Job Overview
The Technical Service Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service support to customers across Australia and New Zealand. This encompasses performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and qualification of laboratory and bioprocessing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, qualification (IQ/OQ), preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lab-scale and bioprocessing equipment.
- Support digital solutions including automation systems, UNICORN, Figurate, Chronicle, OptiRun Connect, Historian, and networking.
- Maintain accurate service documentation including customer service records, internal logs, calibration records, and trunk stock.
- Participate in revenue-generating activities such as contract renewals, sales lead generation, and implementation of service programs.
Requirements:
- Over 4 years of field service experience or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on technical skills with proven expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Proficient with computer systems and networking.
- Ability to travel up to 50% for training and field work.
Working Conditions:
- Field-based role working remotely with access to a local office.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry tools, tool cases, and equipment.
