Child and Family Health Specialist

Lead early childhood health outreach across Central Australia to make a lasting impact on children and families in diverse, remote communities.
Nurse/Midwife Role and Responsibilities- Work as a specialist clinician in the program to provide care to children under 5 years and their families.
- Develop and implement strategies and education for Population Health Care staff to improve child and family health outcomes.
- Be a proactive and culturally responsive clinician with high-level clinical knowledge and skills in Child and Family Health or related field.
- Have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to lifelong learning through clinical guidance and mentoring.
- Be able to travel to remote communities as required, and hold a current driver's licence (or eligible to obtain).
