We are excited to be partnering with a well-respected Tier 1 & 2 Civil Contractors to find a talented Civil Site Engineer to join their team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Civil Site Engineer to work on large civil projects, including road construction, water & wastewater, and subdivisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning, designing, documenting, and managing construction activities and processes;
- Implementing and monitoring the project program in respect to engineering services;
- Implementing measures to sustain and improve the performance of the team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes;
- Managing and monitoring resources for the project;
- Developing and fostering effective and regular communication with the Project Team, including suppliers and clients;
- Ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management, and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation;
- Completing reporting requirements for financial, operating, and survey needs of the site;
- Complying with health and safety requirements and promoting a work environment that reflects this behavior;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field;
- Demonstrated analytical and design skills;
- Practical knowledge in investigation, design, and construction of civil works;
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders, and clients;
- Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors, and visitors;
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork;
- Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
