Key Responsibilities- Personalised Instruction: Tailor lessons to meet each student's unique learning needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
- Inspire Curiosity: Create an engaging and thought-provoking environment with your students to inspire a lifelong curiosity and desire to learn.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong, supportive relationships with your students, offering them a safe and nurturing environment where they feel valued and encouraged to try their best.
- Monitor Progress: Track student progress through note taking, provide regular feedback to parents and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with Families: Partner with parents and guardians to share insights and strategies for supporting their child's educational journey.
Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred. Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds is highly valued. A Working With Children Check is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with students and families. Good organisational skills and flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs are also necessary.
