We are seeking Casual Guides to develop and deliver engaging educational experiences for visitors to Sydney Harbour National Park Precinct and other National Parks and Reserves in Greater Sydney. This exciting role will focus on conducting weekday excursions for primary and secondary school groups as well as being involved in some weekend and school holiday leisure programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational experiences to diverse stakeholders, adapting your approach to respond to various questions and situations.
  • Ensure safety is a top priority, meeting the required Work Health Safety standards when working alone.
  • Provide interpretive and educational guiding or deliver training or classroom experiences that inspire and engage audiences.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the natural values and cultural history of the local area.
  • Gain awareness of Aboriginal Culture and its significance.

Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children check.
  • Senior First Aid certificate.
  • Practical experience in interpretive and educational guiding or delivering training or classroom experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of the natural values and cultural history of the local area.
  • Awareness of Aboriginal Culture.
