Job Title: Prenatal Care Specialist
Job Summary:
As a Prenatal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide prenatal care to patients, including routine assessments and monitoring of health status.
- Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and infant care, guiding them through the transition to motherhood.
- Develop individual birth plans and preferences, advocating for patients' wishes and needs during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognized in Australia.
- Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a midwife.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- AU$75,000 – AU$95,000 per annum salary, commensurate with experience.
