We are excited to partner with one of Australia's largest mid-tier accounting firms to find a talented professional for their Transaction Advisory Services team in Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of high-profile deals, working closely with senior leadership and collaborating with teams across Australia remotely.

About the Role

You will play a key leadership role in managing Transaction Due Diligence projects for corporate and private equity clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing buy-side and sell-side due diligence on M&A transactions, IPO assignments, and other advisory projects.
  • Planning engagements, assessing risks, and delivering high-quality outcomes in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Analyzing complex financial data, providing clear and concise recommendations to clients.
  • Preparing and reviewing due diligence reports, focusing on executive summaries and key financial insights.
  • Taking ownership of client relationships, driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Working closely with remote teams to ensure seamless project execution.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to work autonomously, and be passionate about contributing to business growth.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Manager in a Transaction Advisory team within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or relevant tertiary qualification).
  • Significant experience in M&A, Deal Advisory, and Transaction Due Diligence.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial data and drafting high-level reports.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
