About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team to design and deliver engaging leisure and lifestyle programs that promote optimal health, healthy ageing, and resident choice. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for creating meaningful experiences that cater to individual resident needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative leisure and lifestyle programs that enhance resident wellbeing and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess resident social, spiritual, and emotional needs and design tailored programs to meet their requirements.
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize computer software to record program participation, resident feedback, and other relevant data.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve program goals and objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Diploma in Health Science, Diversional Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field (completed or near completion).
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged or health sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
