Family Law Practice Leader

Job Description:

In this pivotal role, you will oversee a portfolio of family law matters, driving results-oriented strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. You will be responsible for managing and resolving complex cases, leveraging your expertise in property settlements, parenting arrangements, and alternative dispute resolution.

You will appear in court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings, drafting and reviewing critical documents, including Consent Orders and Child Support Agreements. Your exceptional negotiation skills will lead mediations and negotiations to secure optimal resolutions.

As a leader, you will guide junior lawyers, fostering their growth and development within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve complex family law cases
  • Lead mediations and negotiations to secure favorable outcomes
  • Draft and review critical documents, including Consent Orders and Child Support Agreements
  • Guide junior lawyers, promoting professional growth and development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years post-admission experience (PAE) in Family Law
  • Ambition and drive to excel in a leadership role
  • Collaborative and detail-oriented approach
  • Fully qualified and ready to assume full responsibility for the legal side of the practice
