Geotechnical Business Development Lead

This position oversees the development of a cohesive geotechnical community in the south-east US, representing HDR to national and regional clients through clear communication of geotechnical capabilities.
Main Responsibilities:- To enhance technical competencies among geotechnical business class staff in deep foundation design and construction for client satisfaction and market demands.
- Engage in alternate delivery projects to provide expertise in deep foundation design and construction, including project approach and resource reviews for optimal team arrangement.
- Select, train, mentor, and manage geotechnical personnel to meet organizational needs.
- Promote the geotechnical practice and establish partnerships to advance innovative concepts and mitigate risks for the benefit of clients.
- Active PE registration in AL, FL, MS, SC, and TN is essential.
- Proficient in geotechnical aspects of deep foundation construction and claim mitigation is required.
- A Master of Science or higher in Engineering (Geotechnical/Geologic engineering) or equivalent level of experience is necessary.
- No less than 15 years of progressive experience in advanced engineering projects leading geotechnical design efforts for public and private clients.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Maintenance of professional registration and related technical experience is necessary.
