Senior Fund Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our finance team in Sydney, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for a range of fund and project entities, including month-end management accounts and consolidated fund reporting.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and analysing property accounting prepared by external property managers, providing technical accounting and tax advisory for real estate transactions, and preparing quarterly unit price reporting to investors.

Additional duties include preparing annual statutory reports, involvement with financial audit and internal controls audit, and ensuring fund operations comply with fund and corporate documentation and internal compliance obligations.

To succeed in this role, you will have a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) with at least 2+ years post-qualification experience, as well as 5+ years' experience in accounting.
