Defence Hospitality Support Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Services Assistant to support Defence operations in a unique setting. This hospitality role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for a challenging and rewarding career.
This position involves assisting with food service, cooking, and meal preparation in various settings, including Defence camps and fine dining functions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner service, and teas
- Cook breakfast during low occupancy periods
- Prepare salads, BBQ packs, cut lunches, and rations
- Support fine dining functions and large-scale meal prep
- Work off-site in remote camp settings up to 4 times a year
- Current RSA Certificate (required)
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of HACCP and allergen management
- Minimum 2 years' hospitality experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts across the week
- Valid driver's license and Australian citizenship
- Able to pass a police check
- Flexible shifts - mornings, nights, weekends
- Occasional travel to remote camps (4x/year)
- Varied tasks - from cooking to prepping rations
