As a valued member of our dedicated clinical teams, you will have the opportunity to work closely with technical and clerical staff to improve patient health care through accessible, empathetic, and innovative imaging.

The Medical Imaging Assistant aids technical staff and ensures optimum clinic efficiency across multiple (MRI and CT) modalities. Your key responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures and examinations, providing patients with adequate explanation and provision of information, cannulating patients appropriately as required, and assisting technical staff with patient positioning.

Upon commencement, you will receive paid training to proficiently undertake your duties and deliver the best possible patient experience. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service and patient care, develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers, and perform other general duties as outlined in the attached position description.

Key qualifications for this role include strong customer service skills, a passion for care and empathy, demonstrated customer service experience, previous medical reception or clinical experience, initiative, proactivity, and a willingness to learn. You will also need excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
