Communications Strategist

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the voice of one of Australia's premier entertainment destinations. As a Strategic Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving earned media coverage that enhances our reputation through strategic storytelling and content engagement.
Your key responsibilities include developing and pitching consumer-focused media stories aligned with brand priorities, managing external relations to amplify resort initiatives, and coordinating media opportunities including interviews and events.
To succeed in this role, you will require extensive experience in consumer Public Relations or MarComms, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a strong understanding of local and national media landscape, pop culture, and trends.
A Bachelor of Business/PR/Media or related discipline is highly desirable. You will be required to build relationships with media, talent, and influencers to generate positive coverage and content.
