About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Adaps. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Reliable Systems: Develop and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our business.
  2. Monitor and Troubleshoot: Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to define and implement system requirements, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive process improvements.
  4. Coach and Mentor: Share knowledge and expertise with junior team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  5. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to ensure Adaps remains at the forefront of cloud engineering.
Requirements
  1. Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud services, including AWS, Terraform, and containerization.
  2. Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Golang, or C#.
  3. Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python, and automation tools like Ansible and Chef.
  4. Database Knowledge: Understanding of database concepts, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  5. Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, and Dynatrace.
  6. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
