Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

At Adaps, we're seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of our client software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
  • Run, monitor, and observe production applications and improve the overall lifecycle of reliability services.
  • Coaching and mentoring other SRE team members.
  • Work closely with engineering/product teams to define and align SLIs/SLOs to business needs and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
  • Optimize on-call and escalation process as part of an incident management system.
  • Finding better ways of doing things, with a view to the future and technology engineering trends.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of modern software and technology: CI/CD processes and tools such as Build Kite, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, or similar tools.
  • Experience in at least one of the programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Golang, C#, etc.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, etc.
  • Expertise in Ia C patterns and tools such as Terraform/Cloud Formation.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet.
  • Expertise in Docker container management and orchestration of containers such as ECS, AKS, EKS, GKE, or native Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g., Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, or No SQL DBs).
  • Experience in application monitoring and relevant monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, or App Dynamics.
  • Experience in defining SLIs that align with team to meet availability and latency objectives.
  • Engineering practices: availability, reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
