Job Title: Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

This role is a perfect fit for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting adults, older adults, and their families to achieve maximum independence and participation in activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide individual and group occupational therapy training/intervention programs to enable clients to perform everyday activities such as cooking, cleaning, and showering.
    • Assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment to improve their occupational performance and quality of life.
    • Offer advice and support on low-vision techniques and strategies to enhance clients' abilities and overall well-being.

To succeed in this role, you must hold a nationally recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also require knowledge and skills in working with children and young people, as well as a passion for supporting individuals to live life on their own terms.
