Caregiver Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Child Protection Counsellor to join our team.
The successful candidate will work with children, young people and their families who have experienced or are affected by child protection. The role involves providing specialist therapeutic and case management services, as well as professional consultation and training to professionals and communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised support to clients through therapeutic and case management services.
- Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to prevent and respond to child protection issues.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a clinical discipline, including social work or psychology.
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Demonstrated expertise in working with children, young people and adults who have experienced trauma and abuse.
