Job Description:

As an Aged Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care that meets individual resident needs and promotes independence
  • Supporting residents with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
  • Assisting residents with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and eating, transferring, and ambulation
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Contributing to a safe and supportive environment by adhering to infection control and workplace safety procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies
  • Prior experience as a personal carer in aged care is highly desirable but not essential (training provided)
  • A commitment to deliver personalized holistic care that supports residents in achieving their goals and having their needs met
