Heavy Machinery Technician or Trade Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable professional to join our team as a Heavy Machinery Technician or Trade Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with heavy machinery, has strong problem-solving skills, and takes pride in delivering quality work.

About the Roles:

  • Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician:
    • You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hydraulic hose and component issues on heavy plant and equipment.
    • Fabricate and install new hoses and components.
    • Assist qualified technicians with repairs and maintenance.
    • Provide technical advice and great customer service.
    • Keep accurate job records and follow all safety procedures.
  • Mobile Trade Assistant:
    • You will play a key role in supporting our technicians and keeping the workshop running smoothly.
    • Assist with repairs and maintenance on heavy plant and equipment.
    • Pick up and deliver parts as needed.
    • Keep the workshop and work areas organized and safe.
    • Maintain job records and uphold our safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

For Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Skilled in hydraulic hose repair and replacement.
  • Knowledge of heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Great with customers and safety-focused.
  • Current driver's license.

For Mobile Trade Assistant:

  • Proactive and able to work at a fast pace.
  • Can take initiative.
  • Works well independently and in a team.
  • Strong customer service and safety focus.
  • Current driver's license.
