Heavy Machinery Technician

We are seeking a reliable, customer-friendly individual who is passionate about heavy machinery and equipment to work outdoors in this hands-on role.

  • Booking in a range of trucks / machinery by taking photos, entering make/model descriptions and details onto our system via iPad
  • Locate, move, (using a forklift), damaged motor vehicles and record the movements of all vehicles
  • Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, basic maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
  • Load/unload trucks and vehicles / Equipment efficiently to ensure they are processed in a timely
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all WHS policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Passion for heavy machinery - experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded
  • Current & valid drivers' license with ability to drive manual (essential)
  • Current, valid forklift license (essential)
  • Sound ability to use an iPad
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Good attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
