Veterinary Nurse Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified veterinary nurse to take on a senior role at our Melbourne cat clinic. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients and their pets, providing exceptional care and service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual who is looking to take their career to the next level. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including stock control and bookkeeping, rostering and scheduling, as well as nursing duties.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the smooth operation of the clinic, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee stock control and bookkeeping, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Roster and schedule staff, ensuring that the clinic is adequately staffed at all times.
- Perform nursing duties, including training and directing junior nurses.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, and a minimum of two years' experience as a veterinary nurse. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
