Job Opportunity: Veterinary Nursing Trainer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled trainer to deliver high-quality instruction in our Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing course. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary nursing, curriculum design, and teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and effective learning materials that meet industry standards and trends.
  • Teaching Implementation: Deliver online and classroom instruction using multimedia resources and real-life cases to inspire student interest in veterinary nursing.
  • Student Guidance: Establish positive relationships with students, provide personalized academic and career guidance, and supervise internships.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student performance and provide targeted feedback, participating in course evaluations and improvements.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments by attending seminars, conferences, and training sessions.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing or above.
  • Certificate Requirements: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is mandatory.
  • Experience: Experience in veterinary nursing in Australia is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Student Management Systems (SMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous.
  • Software Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
