The Opportunity

Urbis is expanding its Sydney Archaeology Team within the National Heritage Group. We are seeking experienced Archaeology Experts to join our team and contribute to various tasks, including historic and Aboriginal archaeology projects, fieldwork in the Sydney basin, and regional areas.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking consultation and fieldwork according to NSW legislation and protocols.
  • Demonstrating high-level research, interpretation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Assisting with project implementation, client relationships, and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • An understanding of archaeological principles and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Ability to conduct fieldwork across NSW.
  • Relevant experience in the archaeology industry (preferable).
