Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned expert to provide strategic input into the preparation of heritage reports, including appraisals, assessments, impact statements, and management plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a full range of heritage reports, including appraisals, assessments, impact statements, and management plans.
  • Craft and direct the work of junior team members and subconsultants.
  • Conduct thorough research, site inspections, and report writing.
  • Provide expert heritage advice and appraisals, including audits, assessments, and analysis.
  • Lead or contribute to the preparation of conservation and heritage management plans.
  • Review and edit the work of others to produce final reports.
  • Assist with preparing and coordinating submissions for new projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in architecture, history, planning, heritage management, or archaeology.
  • Extensive experience in the heritage consulting or architectural sector as a senior consultant.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
  • In-depth knowledge of key heritage regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in report templating and graphics.
