About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repairs Specialist to join our team at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel in Australia or New Zealand. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as carrying out repairs within the property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
  • Previous gardening experience;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
