We are a locally owned and operated construction, development, operations, and hospitality company. Our portfolio includes hotels and venues such as Novotel Darwin CBD, The Smith Hotel, and the Frontier Hotel, along with associated restaurants and bars.

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our hotels' maintenance activities. You will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of hotel facilities, fostering a collaborative environment to address any issues promptly and effectively.

**Core Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in day-to-day maintenance requirements
  • Complete daily plant rounds and note equipment for repair
  • Maintain equipment to ensure acceptable availability and reliability
  • Liaise with relevant teams regarding work in guest rooms and public areas
  • Record all maintenance tasks performed

**Essential Requirements:**

  • Good physical condition capable of handling duties without significant health issues
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on service quality
  • Culturally aware and adept at collaborating with people from various backgrounds
  • Proficient in working independently
  • Flexible to work different shifts as needed

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in general building maintenance
  • Previous experience working in hotel or resort settings is preferred
  • Trade qualification is preferred
  • Experienced in operating small hand tools

Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
