We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead whole-of-government engagement initiatives.

Role Description

The Engagement Team is looking for a senior professional to play a central role in strengthening how the ACT Government connects with the Canberra community.

You will contribute to the implementation of a refreshed whole-of-government Engagement Framework, support key strategic projects, and help deliver engagement governance across government.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the improvement of engagement practice across government and how we listen to, involve and respond to the Canberra community.

  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, communications, and a strong understanding of government processes.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Tertiary qualifications in Engagement, Communications, or a related field. Accreditation with International Association of Public Participation.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency.
