This is a full-time, permanent position as the Head of Department for Christian Development in a secondary school. The role requires passion, enthusiasm, and experience in teaching Christian Development Years 7-12 and Stage 6 Studies of Religion.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the department, developing curriculum, and implementing new syllabuses. They will also be required to work collaboratively with the Christian Development/Chaplaincy team, develop communication and collaboration skills, and have a commitment to the school's Christian mission, values, and ethos.
Qualifications and Requirements
Required qualifications include a Diploma level or higher in theology, experience in leadership, and knowledge of recent developments in senior secondary pedagogy. The ideal candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to inspire students. They should also be knowledgeable about technology and willing to use it to enhance learning.
