About the Role

Applications are invited from qualified and committed educators to fill the position of Humanities Teacher in our Secondary School. This role will have a flexible time commitment by negotiation and commence in Term 1.

As a member of our Secondary School team, you will collaborate with the Subject Coordinator and Wellbeing Coordinators to create a rich learning environment marked by excellence in assessment and evaluation, fostering positive interpersonal relationships, and prioritising student safety.

  • Ability and willingness to teach Business Studies and Commerce as well as Stages 4-5 History and Geography.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences.
  • Passion for Christian Education.
  • Confident use of technology in the classroom.
  • Curious and tenacious learner with a passion for motivating students.
  • Desire to engage in a dynamic staff learning environment where teaching practice is encouraged and facilitated.
  • Experience in teaching Business Studies and Commerce as well as Stages 4-5 History and Geography.
  • Willingness to or experience in teaching Senior History - Ancient and/or Modern.
  • Integrated understanding of faith and teaching.
  • Experience working in an educational setting.
