A challenging opportunity has emerged for a Night Shift Supervisor to drive smooth production operations and achieve business objectives. With over 18 years of experience shaping the food scene, this company is renowned for its commitment to quality and excellence.

The successful candidate will work closely with various sections including bakery, freezer, and pastry to ensure seamless production processes and collaborate effectively with the management team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up production lines
  • Working as a line supervisor
  • Organising production staff
  • Performing regular quality checks
  • Assisting in training new staff
  • Ensuring all products meet food safety standards

To excel in this role, you will need to be proactive, take direction, and demonstrate effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Experience leading a team and/or managing people (3-5 years)
  • Machine operations experience
  • A forklift licence - only required if working in the packing team
  • Experience within the food manufacturing industry, dough making or bakery experience (ideal but not mandatory)
  • Cold room experience
