Administration Officer Job Description

The Role: We are seeking a professional and team-oriented individual to join our front-of-house team of a private hospital as an Administration Officer. This pivotal role will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities include verifying patient admission coverage, facilitating a smooth and streamlined admissions process, and representing the hospital with professionalism and care.

The Position is part time, based primarily across our emergency department with the option of extending into our main reception team. You will thrive in this new & exciting career challenge providing an essential service to ensure patients receive quality care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role you must provide:

  • A National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts from 11pm to 7am
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven organisational skills and initiative
