Job Overview

This is a key leadership role that requires a high degree of technical expertise and experience in managing large-scale integration projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions to industry best practice frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, publish, implement and comply with all program/project deliverables and related standards and procedures at an enterprise level.
- Lead the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of large complex IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations.
- Manage a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.

Requirements

- Experience leading the design, publication, implementation, compliance and delivery of technical solutions to industry best practice frameworks for large scale, complex IM/ICT infrastructure delivery program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry.
- Experience developing and testing HL7 messaging and Java-based message-oriented middleware solution.
- Ability to prioritise, schedule and manage the delivery of new capability between project, development, operational and business stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse and document stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into the business requirement and problems.
- Experience designing large or complex integration solutions and providing expert knowledge in relevant design standards, techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations.

Working Conditions

- Variable hours: Weekend and afterhours work may be required (at various locations as determined by business needs) and may be requested at short notice.
- Relevant qualifications in Information Communication Technology or similar, would be highly desirable.
- May be required to work at different sites and outside of standard business hours.
