We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurses to join our team. As a Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing care and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality patient care
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Ensuring patient and staff safety in all aspects of care
- Supervising and guiding nursing team members to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Providing education and support to patients and their families to manage their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
- Maintaining current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Possessing postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing or working towards this
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care and compliance with national standards
- Using sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Working collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
